The only family golf tournament that took place in 2008 in the Golf Club, how symbolic, was the tournament that starred the Caesarea Junior Golf Academy who participated in the traditional family tournaments.
In this competition, which was a pair competition, golfers could invite a younger or older relative to play with them.
During the festive ceremony in which winners cups were handed out, the director of the Academy, Boaz Segev, spoke about the children's activities that took place between Sukkoth and Chanukah.
Segev, who raised the Golf Academy and the Golf School to new heights, is extremely proud of his Junior, including Israel Champion 15-year-old Assaf Cohen and Women's Champion , 13-year-old Hadass Libman.
Segev wanted to thank one pupil in particular who, in addition to her putting skills, serves as a role model for all Academy pupils, and invited Eden Iso to receive a special gift - a set of golf balls.
Segev: "The prize is given for Eden's willingness to always help, her relationships with her team members and her exemplary behavior on the golf course."
Eden is the daughter of Asher Iso, one of the veteran field employees in the Club.
