Millions of people worldwide play the elegant sport of golf, the most widely played game in the world, with new golf 'addicts' of all ages continuing to join the ranks of players of this challenging sport. Golf is a particularly cynical game in which one small ball essentially dominates the lives of many people, men and women, old and young. The prestigious Caesarea Golf Club, established in the 1960s by the Baron de Rothschild Family, is the only international golf club in Israel. The Caesarea Golf Club is currently upgrading its course with the help of renowned golf course designer Pete Dye.
Dye is one of the most influential and creative golf course designers in golf history who has, over the years, become a legend in golf course design - nine of the golf courses he designed have been ranked by golf digest among the top 100 golf courses in the world.
Once the project has been completed, the Club will be ranked among the top golf clubs in the world, with a course that has a surprising and challenging design capable of hosting international prominent golf tournaments and providing golfers a unique game experience. The upgrade project stringently adheres to Caesarea's emphasis on natural values while incorporating its unique vista. The club will open at May 1st.
